Software updates so far…
• Mono Mode – The library responds like a mono synth (only one note can be played at a time, and when it is released, it replays the last note held).
• Glide (Mono & Poly) – When one note is pressed after the other, the pitch of the new notes slides up to its correct pitch.
• Unison – when a single note is played, a second (identical) detuned note plays at the same. At low values it has the effect of thickening the sound, at higher values it creates an otherworldly detuned effect.
• Quick selection menus on DELAY and REVERB. These two menus allow users to load a selection of preset effects quickly.
• Radically expanded MULTI FX section. It now features 51 morphing effects (including brand-new spacial, choral, phaser and flanger effects).
• Both layer A and B’s sample selection area feature extra sub and noise samples to layer over the selected patch (effectively turning the library into a quad-layer engine).
• Fine tuning control that can be automatically split apart on both layers, creating a thickening effect.
• New, smoother responding high-cut and low-cut filters.
• Fully featured multi-mode filter with new tech that makes it sound like a hardware filter.
• Filter smoothing to emulate a ‘voltage-controlled filter cutoff’ sound and feel.
• 9 Filter types.
• 21 Filter presets (plus the ability to load/save filter setups).
• Filter LFO, envelope, key-tracking and resonance.
• Unique 4 band parametric EQ. The sound is based on SSL circuitry, but the functionality is based on an API 550b (with adaptive Q tech).
• EQ presets with the ability to load/save user EQ settings.
• Comprehensive arpeggiator featuring latch, step amount (2 to 64 steps), speed, note order (including a poly chord mode that plays multiple notes rhythmically instead of one at a time), voice limiting, note velocity graph, gate, glide (one note slides in pitch to the next – controllable with motion sequencers and CC#’s), octave span, panner (to create a ping-pong effect), swing timing and more.
• Intelligent Randomizer to automatically setup the arp.
• Arp presets and the ability to load/save the setup.
• Multiple hardware controller options that include range options (that determine the start and end point of the library’s control when a hardware control is moved).
• +/- 3 octave bend range (6 octaves in total).
• Setup presets to automatically set the library to be used as a mono synth, sub bass, pad, ambient sound, etc.
• NEW Instability control. This emulates the behaviour of electricity on real analog components and effectively allows the library to sound like a real analog synth.
• NEW Aftertouch, with menu and amount control.
